Now Accepting 2012 CSA Season Signups
2012 Regular CSA Season: 36 weeks from March 14/15 to November 14/15 2012.
Our new season will start the third week in March 2012, but please sign up early to make sure you get on our list and to help our sign-up process run smoothly. You can sign up for the whole year (mid-March through mid-November) or for 9 weeks at a time. If you are a new member, you have the option to start with a 4-week trial subscription if you’re not quite ready to commit.
Delivery Schedule and Costs
Our deliveries this year will be on Wednesdays to the South Bay up to Palo Alto and on Thursdays in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. Our first deliveries of the season are on March 14th and 15th, and the final deliveries of 2012 will be November 14th and 15th (the week before Thanksgiving).
2012 Schedule
Winter Session: Nov 30/Dec 1st to February 22nd/23rd (every other week)
Session 1: Spring – March 14th/15th to May 8th/9th
Session 2: Early Summer — May 10th/11th to July 11th/12th
Session 3: Mid Summer – July 18th/19th to September 12th/13th
Session 4: Fall — September 19th/20th to November 14th/15th
We love it when people sign up in advance for the whole year, but we understand that it is easier for many people to budget it over the year. We do ask that you sign up for a minimum of 9 weeks. This keeps our administrative costs down and helps us to plant the right amount for the number of members we expect to have. (New members nervous about making the commitment may sign up for a 4 week trial to start with.)
The price per share is $22 per week with an optional $8 per week for flowers (that’s $198 for 9 weeks vegetables and fruits; $270 for vegetables/fruits and flowers). Full year sign-ups get a discount equivalent to one free box–$770 for vegetables and fruits only, $1050 for vegetables/fruits plus flowers.
