High Ground Organics and Two
Small Farms: Farm Events
The best part about being a family farm is inviting your family to our farm! Farm events are a great time for you to see where your vegetables are grown and find out more about your farmers. We usually have Strawberry U-Picks during the peak strawberry season, plus habitat restoration work parties with Laura Kummerer. We've set the date for the 2010 Fall Harvest Festival (see the pictures below from last year's event!). Our pumpkin patch looks great this year, so that will be a feature of the festival, along with yummy barbecue from Chef Andrew Cohen and his helpers, chocolate dipped strawberries, farm arts and crafts for the kids, hay ride farm tours behind the tractor, a small animal petting zoo, pony rides, made to order wreaths. Entry Fee is $10 adult/$5 child (kids 3 and under are free). The entry fee includes pony and hay rides, petting zoo, arts and crafts. You pay per item for food, pumpkins, and strawberries.
Unless otherwise noted, events are open to everybody, however please only visit us during scheduled events as we are a busy working farm.
For directions to the farm scroll down below the pictures.
